Kaurina’s Malai Cardamom Kulfi Bar Chosen First Place Grand Champion

Madison, Wisconsin – September 13, 2012: Kaurina’s Kulfi, a traditional Indian frozen dairy dessert based out of Dallas, was recently recognized at the World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Products Contest as a 1st Place Grand Champion for their Malai (Cardamon Cream) Kulfi Bars.
Their Pistachio-Almond Kulfi also took 3rd prize in the same category. The bars received first place honors in the “Creative and Innovative Products” category.
Kaurina’s will receive their award at the October 2nd World Dairy Expo. With this distinct award, Kaurina’s Kulfi has brought the traditional Indian dessert into popularity.
The World Dairy Expo Championship is the only competition of its kind in North America. It is the only national contest focusing exclusively on dairy products such as ice cream, cheese and butter. The competition considered more than 700 dairy processors.

This is the first time ever that a Kulfi product has ever been recognized in a national dairy product competition and won 1st place.
