Company Recognized for Its Innovative Snow Plow for Cars, ATVs, UTVs, Mowers and Tractors
West Chicago, IL – October 31, 2013 – Nordic Auto Plow, LLC, the developer of unique, low-exertion plow products, announced today that it has been named one of the Up-and-Comer Award winners at the 12th annual Chicago Innovation Awards.
The winners were announced at an event held at Chicago’s Harris Theater on Wednesday, October 30, with nearly 1500 business and civic leaders attending. The Chicago Innovation Awards, celebrating its 12th year, is the Chicago region’s foremost recognition of the most innovative new products and services brought to market or to public service each year.
Nordic Auto Plow’s award-winning innovation is a patent-pending plow designed to attach to passenger cars, ATVs, UTVs, lawn tractors, and zero-turn mowers. The plow is a welcome snow removal alternative that helps people who cannot physically shovel snow, who have a higher risk of heart attack, or who simply want an easier, faster and warmer way to clear their driveways. The ATV, UTV, lawn tractor and zero-turn mower versions are also suitable for year-round use pushing mulch, topsoil, leaves, sand, etc.

There were a record-high 562 nominees for this year’s Chicago Innovation Awards – up from 390 last year. These nominees cut across all industries, sizes and sectors in the Chicago region.
